EDUCATION JOURNEY

A disrupted pathway. A new direction. A Master's journey in Germany.

A Ghanaian Business Administration graduate began her academic journey in Ukraine. When circumstances disrupted her studies, continuing along the original pathway was no longer straightforward.

Rather than allowing a disrupted academic journey to bring everything to a stop, her options were reassessed. The focus shifted toward identifying a new pathway that remained aligned with her academic background and future plans.

Germany emerged as a new academic destination. Suitable Master's opportunities were explored and applications were pursued with a clear focus on finding a realistic continuation of her academic journey.

The outcome was significant. She received admission to two Master's programmes in Germany, creating new options for the next stage of her education.

She ultimately continued her Master's journey in Germany and is now approaching completion of her programme in Berlin.

One pathway changed. The journey continued.

CAREER JOURNEY

From Ghanaian nursing qualifications to a new professional pathway in Germany.

A Ghanaian-trained nurse wanted to begin a new professional chapter in Germany. Like many international professionals, the journey required more than simply deciding to move. Preparation had to begin before the transition could take place.

German language development became an important part of the preparation. She progressed from A1 to B1 German, building the foundation needed for life and work in a new professional environment.

An opportunity to work as a nursing assistant then opened the door to gaining practical experience in Germany while continuing language development and working toward professional recognition.

This created a staged pathway rather than requiring every part of the professional journey to happen at once.

More than two years later, the journey continues to demonstrate how preparation, entry into the new environment and continued professional development can work together.

Prepare. Enter. Gain experience. Develop. Progress.

CAREER JOURNEY

From public health nursing in Ghana to a new professional pathway in Canada.

A Ghanaian Public Health Nurse explored the possibility of continuing her nursing career in Canada.

The journey began with understanding the requirements for progressing from an international nursing background into the Canadian professional environment.

Through professional matching and pathway guidance, she successfully progressed through the National Nursing Assessment Service (NNAS) and Saskatchewan's provincial assessment process.

The assessment process identified a training gap. Rather than treating the gap as the end of the journey, it became a clear indication of what needed to be addressed next.

This led to an upgrading programme at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, providing a pathway toward addressing the identified requirement.

The journey continues, bringing her one step closer to Canadian nursing registration and employment.

Assessment reveals the gap. Preparation addresses the gap. The journey continues.

BUSINESS JOURNEY

From a China business visit to sourcing, negotiation and shipment.

A Ghanaian business owner needed more than a China visa. The purpose of the trip was commercial: to identify suitable suppliers, negotiate effectively and make the sourcing journey worthwhile.

LORDBLESS supported the China visa process and helped connect the business owner with suitable suppliers based on the purpose of the trip.

Once in China, the journey moved beyond travel arrangements. Face-to-face visits created the opportunity to meet suppliers, assess options and negotiate directly.

With the right connections in place, the business owner was able to work toward securing value for money while developing supplier relationships for the sourcing process.

The journey then moved from the visit itself toward the next commercial stage: connecting the shipment to logistics support and bringing the goods back to Ghana.

The result was a journey that connected travel with a practical business objective — from the initial China visit through sourcing and negotiation to shipment.

A business trip became a sourcing journey — and the journey continued beyond the visit.
